Sunday Apple Pie recipe :)


I'll leave here the recipe both in Portuguese and English!


Torta de maça

Apple pie


🇵🇹 Português 🇵🇹

Ingredientes:

  • 3 a 4 maçãs (verdes e grandes);

  • 8 ovos;

  • O peso dos ovos em açúcar;

  • Pouco mais de metade do peso do açúcar em farinha;

  • 250g de margarina;

  • 1 colher de chá de fermento.

Cobertura:

  • Cobrir o bolo com geleia.

Preparação:

  1. Derreter um pouco a manteiga e juntar ao açúcar;

  2. Bater bem com a batedeira e acrescentar as 8 gemas 1 a 1 e ir mexendo;

  3. Acrescentar a farinha e por fim envolver as claras em castelo na massa do bolo.

  4. Untar a forma com manteiga e farinha;

  5. Colocar uma porção da massa e cobrir com maça laminhada (partir em 4 e cortar laminas fininhas);

  6. Fazer este processo até acabar a massa e finalizar com maça laminada;

  7. Levar ao forno a 200º e retirar quando achar que está pronto (teste do palito);

  8. Cobrir o bolo com geleia.

Ingredients:

  • 3 to 4 apples (green ones, and big);

  • 8 eggs;

  • The weight of the eggs in sugar;

  • A bit more than a half of the sugar in flour;

  • 250g of margarine;

  • 1 tea spoon of yeast.

Toppings:

  • Cover the cake with jam.

Preparation:

  1. Melt the butter and add to the sugar:

  2. Beat well with an electric mixer and add 8 egg yolks 1 by 1 and stir;

  3. Add the flour and finally mix the egg white;

  4. Grease the pan with butter and flour;

  5. Place a portion of the dough and cover with a streaked apple (split into 4 and cut thin blades);

  6. Do this process until the dough is finished and finished with laminated apple;

  7. Place in the oven at 200º and remove when you think it's ready;

  8. Cover the cake with jam.
