Today's Easter. It doesn't feel much like it, sadly. I would love to be with my family, not through facetime like it was today. On this day every year we are normally in Prainha, Algarve with our grandparents and this year was different. This year was just us four and getting Catarina to the hospital (gladly not with COVID-19).
So unfortunately there's not much to talk about this Easter. It was a normal day for us, but our grandmother cooked for us and my mom went to her house to get lunch and give her some cakes.
We Facetimed during lunch and I hid Easter eggs for my mum to find while Cat and father were in the hospital. Now we will just turn this into movie and games afternoon and evening - and make the most out of it.
Once I don't have much to talk about today I'll leave here pictures from today and a special recipe!
NOW ONTO THE RECIPE!
Mousse de Oreo
2 pacotes de Oreo
1 lata de leite condensado
2 pacotes de natas
Oreo's partidas a gosto (2/3 oreos)
Batem-se as natas com a batedeira;
Junta-se o leite condensado e volta-se a bater bem;
Juntar as claras já batidas em castelo bem firme e envolve-se no preparado;
Depois de misturadas as claras deita-se as Oreos raladas;
Mexe-se de forma a ficar uniforme;
Deita-se na taça e junta-se as Oreos partidas em cima e leva-se ao congelador.
2 Oreo packs
1 can of condensed milk
2 packs of cream
4 egg whites
As many crushed Oreos as you want
Whip the cream with an electric mixer;
Add the condensed milk and stir it well again;
Stir the egg whites already well beaten along with the rest;
After the egg whites are mixed, add the Oreos crushed;
Stir it in order to be uniform;
Put it in the bowl and add the crushed Oreos on top and take it to the freezer.
I wish you all a Happy Easter, despite the whole situation.
